Sensei Natalie Wright started her journey with Kanzen Ryu Karate in 1994. She has trained on and off (stopping while pregnant with their children) and has a thorough knowledge and understanding of Kanzen Ryu Karate.
She has been teaching Karate since 2002 and holds the rank of Sho Dan (Black Belt). Sensei Natalie has the ability to simplify Karate and has quirky ways to link certain aspects, assisting students in understanding and remembering while allowing them to progress at a study rate.
Sensei Natalie is able to work with students of all levels and takes great pride in helping students achieve their goals.

Sensei Natalie has always held high management positions within large corporations and has hands on experience when working with people, especially when getting people them to believe in themselves and be the best that they can be. Her business experience ensure that Karate School offers exceptional quality from start to finish and the dedication she has to this, is transparent in everything that Karate School offers.
Her experience when working with people dealing with crisis situations has allowed her to understand peoples challenges and fears and she has the skills and experience to assist people in need and offer a kind listening ear.
Sensei Natalie's dealings with Reiki has allowed her to provide and share a beautiful ancient healing whether it be for a Physical aspect, Mental/Psychological concern or Spiritual fulfilment.
Having her own children allows her to understand the hurdles and challenges parents sometimes face and appreciates being able to help anyone and everyone in anyway that she can.
Sensei Paul has been training and studying Kanzen Ryu Karate since 1995 and holds the ranks of Sho Dan (Black Belt) and has been an Assistant Instructor with Karate School since 2004.
Recently Sensei Paul was awarded a Medal and Certificate of courage from the Governor General in Sydney for assisting in a citizen arrest on a man attempting to steal from Angus and Coote at Shellharbour Square. He also has received other awards from the NSW Police highlighting his bravery and assistance within the community.
Sensei Paul assists in every class and is a valuable member of the Instructor Team. He is serious about his teaching of Kanzen Ryu Karate and this is clearly seen with his exceptional form and knowledge of the entire Kanzen Ryu Syllabus.
You'll find peace of mind knowing that our Instructors have successfully passed their National Coaching Accreditation (Blue Card) and Certification through the Australian Government and have been screened to work with children.
At Karate School, we run a very successful program called "LEADERSHIP TEAM" where we will work with students who wish to assist or have the goal to become an Instructor and give them the tools and skills needed to successfully coach someone and bring out the best in them. The Leadership Team go through extensive training and then put their skills into practice and assist the Head Instructor and Senior Assistant Instructor in classes.
